If they are, then you are fit to start increasing your muscular performance. If not, then you need to focus on rehabilitation before you start increasing your strength and explosive ability. Do I need a weight room to use the Jump Manual?
No, you do not need access to a weight room. While resistance training is an important part of getting the maximum benefit from your training a weight room is not necessary. We provide variations you can do without a weight room. Weights are simply a convenient way to provide resistance to muscles.
I am Asian, White, Hispanic, etc… Is it possible for me to increase my vertical?
There’s a stigma out there that your ethnicity prevents you from improving your athleticism. It’s just not true. Any healthy athlete can improve their athletic ability. While some people are genetically endowed with more natural athleticism, the human body is programmed to be able to adapt and improve. If you give your body the proper training stimulus, it will react and adapt to become stronger and more explosive. How fast will I see results?
Of course gains vary from athlete to athlete, and your results will depend on many factors not the least of which is how much effort and dedication you put into it. Unless your vertical is in the upper 40s to lower 50s you are likely nowhere near your potential.
Unfortunately most people have logged 100s of hours training incorrectly and thus have achieved very little progress. You must learn correct principles for “explosion training” which is very different from regular strength or quickness training.
Is this type of training dangerous?
